The software integrates with Adagio Receivables, Inventory, Sales Analysis and Ledger. Invoices are automatically generated, printed and transferred to Receivables and service records also can be applied to rented items. The rental contract and invoice forms are user-defined and can be open-ended with periodic billing of rented items. Several summarized rental and management reports are provided, including delinquent items, conflicts and profitability.

Mobile WorkForce from Point-of-Rental™ Systems in Grand Prairie, Texas, is a web-based application that is designed to allow employees in the field to update contract-related information in real-time from their mobile device or tablet. With options such as call logs, photos, signatures, arrival, departure and en route notifications, employees can open the contract on-site and take a photo of the item delivered as well as have the customer sign for it right on the device. The signature capture is instantly reflected in the contract, eliminating the need for paper to be delivered back to the office and filed, the company says. In addition, Mobile WorkForce can be used during a site survey for delivery and setup to add notes to the contract or reservation, detail the surface and size of the area, and many other logistical elements.

The Rental Manager software Windows-based order entry and inventory management system from Xgensoft, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, handles rentals and sales for small to mid-size rental businesses. It interfaces with Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks®, and is designed to allow an unlimited number of customers, inventory and orders, the company says. RentalPointToGo iPhone app from RentalPoint Software, Milton, Ontario, Canada, is a barcode scanning app that integrates with RentalPoint to enable users to track equipment. The app establishes a real-time connection to the database server so that warehouse staff can get immediate feedback when they scan equipment. RentalPoint Software operates as a central repository of information to keep track of all bookings, shortages, customers, inventory, venues, logistics and venues. It also can produce all documentation, including purchase orders, pick lists, invoices, delivery sheets and technician’s sheets.

Hufnagel Software PartyCAD

PartyCAD Windows software from Hufnagel Software, Clarion, Pa., allows the user to create graphic designs of indoor and outdoor events. The program produces PDF output pages containing scale drawings and 3D views of an event. Pages can be printed, emailed or saved for later use as part of an overall proposal. PartyCAD comes with a variety of tents and includes more than 1,500 items commonly used in event design, such as dance floors, tables and chairs, pipe and drape components, fountains and inflatable games. In addition, PartyCAD results can be customized to incorporate a company logo.
