It’s back to the Crescent City for The Rental Show 2015 — mark your calendar now for Sunday, Feb. 22, through Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
This will mark the eighth time the show will be held in the city, with the most recent being in 2012. That year was a record one for tourist spending in New Orleans, with 9.01 million visitors spending an all-time high of $6 billion, according to figures from the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Since The Rental Show 2012, renovations totaling $52 million have been completed at the convention center, including a brand-new entrance and The Great Hall as well as a new pedestrian plaza and outdoor terrace. The Louis Armstrong International Airport is undergoing $300 million in capital improvements. The city continues to host high-profile sporting events including the NCAA Men’s Final Four in 2012, the Super Bowl and NCAA Women’s Final Four in 2013 and the NBA All-Star Game this February.
New Orleans also continues to be ranked as one of the best destinations to visit in the U.S. by a variety of websites and publications, including Trip Advisor for the past four years.
Housing for The Rental Show 2015 will open at the 2014 show in Orlando, Fla. Seventeen hotels will be part of the official hotel block through Travel Planners.
