Organizers of Bauma 2013, held April 15-21 in Munich, Germany, expected this year’s event to be their largest ever. The trade show took up 6.1 million sq. ft. of exhibition space, spread between 16 halls, accounting for 1.9 million sq. ft., and the outdoor exhibition area, offering 4.2 million sq. ft. More than 3,400 exhibitors from 57 countries showcased their innovations. The organizers said the Top 10 exhibiting countries were:
Bauma organizers expected to have more than 450,000 visitors to the “International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment.” Final numbers were not available at press time.
