John Deere crawler loader

The 650K crawler loader from John Deere, Moline, Ill., is the latest addition to the company’s K-Series line and has a John Deere PowerTech™ 4.5L Tier 4 interim diesel engine with a net 110 hp at 2,200 rpm. The loader also has a hydrostratic transmission and the customer can choose between a v-pattern or joystick transmission control option as well as between a general-purpose bucket or a four-in-one multipurpose bucket.


Doosan wheel loader

The DL250-3 wheel loader from Doosan, West Fargo, N.D., has an upgraded Tier 4 interim engine that provides 172 hp and has a breakout force of 27,120 lbs. It has a full-turn tipping capacity of 20,680 lbs. and a dump height of 9 ft. 2 in. The unit also is available in a high-lift configuration, extending the dump height to 10 ft. 8 in. An auto-idle feature provides additional noise reduction and fuel savings by reducing the working idle from 950 rpm to a standby idle setting of 750 rpm when the machine is inactive for a short period of time.


Landoll Corp. arctic hose package

The arctic hose package for traveling axle trailers from Landoll Corp., Marysvill, Kan., is designed for customers operating in extreme weather conditions in northern Canada and Alaska. Special air and hydraulic lines are installed that have operating ranges down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit, special grease that operates down to -58 degrees Fahrenheit and pumpability to -22 degrees Fahrenheit.


TVH cloth seat

The GS15 cloth seat from TVH in the Americas (TVH), Olathe, Kan., replaces the company’s GS12 cloth seat and has been developed for suspension comfort in vehicles that have limited seat space. The seat can be used in construction, turf and material handling equipment and has suspension stroke up to 1.6 in., fore/aft adjustment of 8.3 in., an adjustable backrest angle with a setting range
+/- 7.5 degrees, a semi-suspended mechanical suspension and a weight adjustment with a setting range from 110 to 265 lbs.



Hitachi Power Tools driver bits

The magnetic driver bits from Hitachi Power Tools, Norcross, Ga., use a rare earth metal magnet to provide a secure hold on the fastener. The bits are made from S2 steel with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance. The magnet is stamped into an aluminum collar, which is designed to allow movement for the magnet to sit flush against the head of the fastener and also will retract for counter-sinking. All bits are 2 in. in length and come with ¼-in. hex shanks to fit impact drivers or drills.


Subaru Industrial Engines V-twin engines

The big block V-twin engines from Subaru Industrial Engines, Lake Zurich, Ill., include the 35-hp EH90 and the 40-hp EH99. Both are air-cooled gasoline engines designed to be used in equipment such as concrete polishers, riding trowels, utility vehicles, zero-turn mowers and ride-on blowers. The standard four-cycle overhead valve (OHV) engines also feature a dual element air filter designed to protect the engine from dust to reduce maintenance needs and comply with all current EPA and CARB requirements, the company says.
