Ditch Witch vacuum excavator

The Ditch Witch FX50 vacuum excavator from The Charles Machine Works (CMW®), Perry, Okla., manufacturers of Ditch Witch® underground construction equipment, is designed for cleanup and soft excavation tasks. The 49-hp FX50 can be customized and is available with optional reverse flow to enable the operator to offload fluid spoils from the vacuum tanks. It also comes standard with
a hydraulic tank door that opens fully for spoils removal.


Genie rough-terrain boom

The Genie® Z™-45/25 rough-terrain 45-ft. articulating boom lift from Genie, Redmond, Wash., has been redesigned with an updated drive system, which the company says produces 24 percent more tractive effort than the previous model and provides four-wheel drive and four-wheel braking. The Z-45/25 RT has a maximum working height of 51 ft. 10 in., an up and over clearance of 23 ft. 5 in. and a 500-lb. lift capacity.


Doosan hydraulic breakers

The DXB130H and DXB190H hydraulic breakers from Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment America, West Fargo, N.D., have an energy recovery system to increase strike power and the nitrogen-powered breakers are equipped with an upper/lower suspension system that isolates the power unit from the housing, the company says. The 2,822-lb. DXB130H, which can deliver up to
600 blows per minute, is designed for use with excavators in the 15 to 22 metric ton weight range. The 3,698-lb. DXB1980 H is designed for use with excavators in the 21 to 31 metric ton weight range and is rated in the 6,000 ft.-lb. impact energy class and requires a hydraulic flow rate of between 31.7 and 47.5 gal. per minute.


Iowa Mold Tooling Co. articulating cranes

The 40/275 and 50/345 models of truck-mounted articulating cranes from Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Garner, Iowa, an Oshkosh Corp. company, are designed to provide long-reach capabilities and minimized space requirements. The 40/275 crane provides a maximum lifting capacity of 19,026 lbs. and the 50/345 model has a maximum lifting capacity of 22,840 lbs. Both models can be equipped with up to eight hydraulic extensions for maximum horizontal reaches of 69 ft. 11 in. and 70 ft. 3 in., respectively. The models also have a dual power plus link arm system.



Doosan Portable Power generators

The G70, G85 and G125 mobile generators from Doosan Portable Power, Statesville, N.C., are powered by Tier 4i Cummins diesel engines and have been redesigned to enhance operator efficiency and expand versatility with new options, such as the Quad Voltage selection feature, the company says. The Quad Voltage control is designed to allow operators to choose one of four different voltage outputs with the flip of a switch.


Electric Eel pipeline inspection system

The eCam ACE 2 pipeline inspection system from Electric Eel Mfg. Co., Springfield, Ohio, has one-touch USB recording, an on-screen footage counter and a wheel kit designed for maneuverability and easier transport, the company says. The ACE 2 also has a 1.68-in.-diameter color camera, 200 ft. of Kevlar braided ½-in.-diameter push cable, a 512Hz sonde, a 5.4-in. LCD monitor, reel brake and centering skid.
