Case Construction equipment loader/tool carrier
The 570N XT loader/tool carrier from Case Construction Equipment, Racine, Wis., achieves Tier 4 Interim certification through the use of cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) technology and a diesel particulate filter. The company says the 78-net-hp engine delivers a minimum five percent increase in fuel efficiency and faster response times than previous models. The loader/tool carrier has an operating weight of 12,898 lbs., bucket breakout force of 9,271 lbs. and hinge pin height of 11 ft. 3 in.
Gehl compact excavators
The Z17, Z27, Z35, Z45 and Z80 line of compact excavators from Gehl, West Bend, Wis., are powered by Yanmar engines, achieving Tier 4 on the Z17 and Tier 4 Interim on the four other models. All are zero-tail-swing machines, allowing operation directly against a wall or other obstruction without causing damage to the structure or machine, the company says.
Komatsu America Corp. wheel loader
The WA470-7 wheel loader from Komatsu America Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is powered by a 272-hp Komatsu SAA6D125E-6 Tier 4 Interim engine. The 52,007-lb. wheel loader is equipped with the Komtrax® fleet monitoring system and is about 8 percent more fuel efficient than the company’s previous model, the company says.
Iowa Mold Tooling Co. tire manipulators
The Tirehand® tire manipulators from Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Garner, Iowa, an Oshkosh Corp. company, are designed to enable customers to install and rotate tires on mining and construction equipment. The tire manipulators are available in loader or forklift truck-mounted options and have maximum capacities ranging from 5,500 lbs. to 36,000 lbs.
Landoll hydraulic kicker roller package
The hydraulic kicker roller package from Landoll Corp., Marysville, Kan., is a new option for the Model 455 traveling axle trailer. The package is designed to allow skid-mounted equipment for oil fields and other industries to be loaded from the ground onto the trailer deck. The heavy-duty 4.5-in. rollers are stored below the deck surface while the trailer is transporting a load. The package is available with four or eight rollers and each roller has a 10,000-lb. capacity.
The rapid recovery wand from CFR, Fort Worth, Texas, is designed to atomize the water/cleaning solution to powerwash carpet fibers. The company says the wand applies water/solution to carpets and fabrics, and then recovers it all in a single, uninterrupted process, making
it nearly impossible to overwet carpets and fabrics.
Sullair Corp. electric portable air compressor
The E900H electric portable air compressor from Sullair Corp., Michigan City, Ind., delivers 900 acfm at operating pressures up to 150 psig. The company says the electric drive technology results in an operating cost that is 67 percent less than equivalent diesel-driven compressors. The E900 features standard 460V, three-phase, 60Hz cam-lock electrical connections for quick connect installation using standard electrical power or portable generators for either indoor or outdoor applications.
