Ditch Witch ride-on trencher
The RT80 quad ride-on-trencher from Ditch Witch®, Perry, Okla., has a three-speed, shift-on-the-fly ground drive with three speeds in forward and three speeds in reverse to provide better traction and performance on rough and uneven terrain. The company says the quad track system also pivots around the centerline of the axle to provide machine stability
in all conditions.
Dromone tilt buckets
Tilt buckets from Dromone Engineering, West Roxbury, Mass., can be fitted directly to an excavator or in conjunction with a quick coupler. The tilt buckets have a 90-degree bucket rotation, including 45 degrees of rotation to the left and right. The company says the tilt buckets are designed for a range of customer applications including backfilling, ditch cleaning, grading, land clearing and sloping work. The tilt buckets have a dual layer bucket skin with integrated wear-resistant side cutters.
Bobcat Co. extendable arm option
An extendable arm option for the M-Series E42, E45 and E55 compact excavators from Bobcat Co., West Fargo, N.D., are designed to provide more flexibility in space-restricted areas, allowing operators to clean out trenches and place soil further away from an excavation. The extendable arm option also includes an additional counterweight.
Cummins Power Generation mobile generator set
The 60-Hz C2000D6RG 2MW mobile generator set from Cummins Power Generation, Minneapolis, has a fully integrated mobile power generation system that can be used for both standby and prime power applications. The company says the genset also meets strict environmental requirements by using the Cummins QSK60 engine compatible with B20 biodiesel fuel and has a 110 percent total system fluid containment.
Doosan Portable Power air compressors
The P425/HP375WCU, HP450/VHP400WCU and P600/XP535WCU dual pressure mid-range air compressors from Doosan Portable Power, Statesville, N.C., are powered by Cummins QSB Tier 4i-compliant engines. The two-in-one pressure units deliver airflow ranging from 375 to 600 cfm and pressures ranging from 100 to 200 psi, depending on the model.
The Rhino® GPD-30™ gas-powered driver from Rhino Tool Co., Kewanee, Ill., is a lightweight, compact driver designed with a 2-in. chuck for the most commonly driven posts. The 35-lb. GPD-30 is powered by a Honda four-cycle engine and, according to the company, can drive posts in seconds.
Vermeer brush chipper
The Vermeer BC900XL brush chipper from Vermeer, Pella, Iowa, is designed to chip heavily branched material up to 9 in. in diameter for line clearing and general cleanup needs. The chipper has a 9-in.-by-14-in. feed opening and a 33-in.-diameter disc with two steel chipper knives with two usable cutting edges, each rotating at 1,400 rpm.
