The great outdoors

This month Rental Management looks at equipment for outdoor events including tents, sidewalls and tent accessories.

Olympic Tent sidewall

The Value Sidewall product line from Olympic Tent, Tacoma, Wash., and the SEC Group, Wilsonville, Ore., is available in 13-oz. translucent or 16-oz. block-out fabric and comes in a variety of sizes with numerous top and side detail options as well as window options for any event or tent configuration.

Green Monster Manufacturing stake puller

The LS1200 hydraulic stake puller from Green Monster Manufacturing, Elmsford, N.Y., is now longer for better leverage and has wider handles for a more ergonomic grip, the company says. It has a safety shut off, flat-free tires, a 2-in. hydraulic piston and a Honda 5.5-hp engine to provide 6,200 lbs. of pulling power.

ClearSpan structures

Hercules Truss Arch buildings from ClearSpan Fabric Structures, South Windsor, Conn., are designed to allow natural light and provide more spacious interiors without interior support posts. The company says the buildings are custom engineered with minimal foundation requirements for easier relocation or expansion.

  Aztec Tents track system

The Jumbotrac Lite keder frame system from Aztec Tents, Torrance, Calif., is available in hip-, gable- and hex-shaped ends and comes in 10-ft., 15-ft., 20-ft. and 30-ft. widths, with custom sizes available from 6 ft. up to 30 ft. in width. Also, the company says the system is designed to be fully upward and downward compatible with Aztec’s original Jumbotrac keder frame system.

Vitabri Canopies tent

The six-sided hexagonal pop up tent from Vitabri Canopies, Huntington Beach, Calif., is based on the company’s V3 frame. The company says the tent takes 30 seconds to open with two people and offers 175 sq. ft. of cover. The tent is made of heavy-duty flame-retardant vinyl and has an aluminum frame with a reinforced cross-bar system. Tent fittings are made with 30 percent fiberglass and the top comes with VELCRO® around the valances to attach walls.

Charnecke Tents Pro Series II tent

The Pro Series II tent from Charnecke Tents, Rosholt, Wis., is an enhanced version of the Pro Series Tent, which is made of 16- to 18-oz. blackout white vinyl that is flame-retardant and mildew-resistant. The company says the new tent has a deeper more graceful curve between the center poles without having to increase the center pole height. The higher profile tent comes in sizes from 20 ft. wide to 80 ft. wide.

Construction Accessories stake puller

The JackJaw Model 120 stake puller from Construction
Accessories, Waynesville, Ohio, is a chain-suspended version of the company’s stake puller that can be used with skid-steer loaders or forklifts. The 18-lb. Model 120 allows operators to pull stakes straight out of the ground with the lifting force provided by the skid-steer or forklift. The stake puller has no-slip gripping jaws with a safety handle to set it onto stakes.
