Classic Party Rentals has appointed Jeff Black as its new president and CEO, replacing Pedro Mata, who led the company for the past two years. Mata is retiring to pursue other opportunities.

Black comes to Classic from Aramark Uniform Services where he worked for the past 17 years in a variety of key leadership positions and most recently as the vice president of customer care and general manager of Aramark Japan. The company said Black’s customer-centric vision and philosophy of creating a strong culture that begins with integrity and emphasizes building great teams was a key draw for his selection as CEO.

Classic Party Rentals serves nearly 40 locations across the U.S., including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta and Dallas.
