Keeping it clean
This month Rental Management looks at pressure washers.

All models feature a weldless aluminum frame of 1¼-in. tubing with hose hanger, wand holder and adjustable folding handles. The company says the direct-drive pump is mounted with a unique support bracket to reduce strain and extend the life of the engine shaft.
The 3000PSI commercial power washer from Generac, Waukesha, Wis., has a Generac 212cc OHV horizontal shaft engine and professional-grade triplex pump. The spray gun has an adjustable side handle, thicker cushion grip and easy-to-pull trigger, the company says. The unit is housed in a welded roll-cage style frame and comes with a 3/8-in.-by-35-ft. steel-reinforced rubber hose.
The Hydra-Clean air-operated pressure washer from Graco, Minneapolis, is designed to be used with cold or hot water up to 200 degrees F. The company says it can be used with open-head universal drums and for sanitary applications.
The JP-1002-2MEI 1,000 psi pressure washer from Mi-T-M, Peosta, Iowa, has a direct-drive triplex piston General pump with ceramic plungers, adjustable pressure, a forged brass manifold and thermal relief valve. The pump accepts incoming water up to 175 degrees F. The washer has a variable high/low pressure nozzle and 3/8-in.-by-25-ft. non-marking hose with quick connects, swivel and bend restrictors. The unit has a powder-coated steel frame and pneumatic tires.
