The Hot List is an annual product supplement to Rental Management and is designed to highlight products and services from The Rental Show exhibitors that are new to the rental industry or are redesigned to include new enhancements that deliver an improved level of performance.

To qualify for The Hot List 2011, products — new, enhanced or redesigned — must be launched between Feb. 12, 2010, and Feb. 26, 2011. The products listed were selected from those submitted by The Rental Show exhibitors to Rental Management for consideration. The participating company must be the manufacturer or exclusive distributor of the product. Products with cosmetic changes, new packaging or graphics are not eligible.

Products in The Hot List are grouped according to the area of the exhibit floor where the company is located — Construction/Industrial, General Tool/DIY, Party/Special Event or First-Time Exhibitor Pavilion — in addition to pages specifically for those offering new services or software products.

Also included in The Hot List is The Rental Show Essentials section, with articles about what to expect in Las Vegas, what you can do in the area, places to eat, what you can find at the American Rental Association (ARA) booths on the show floor, the show schedule and lists of The Rental Show exhibitors, those offering “Show-Only Specials” and those whose products are part of The Hot List. In addition, there is an expanded list of first-time exhibitors and the products they are offering as well as a general map of the exhibit floor.
