LoJack — record increase in revenue

LoJack Corp., Westwood, Mass., reported that revenue increased 17 percent to $46.4 million for the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31, 2005, from $39.6 million for the same period a year ago. For 2005, revenue increased 31 percent to $190.73 million from $145.7 million in the prior year.

Net income for the fourth quarter increased 62 percent to $5.02 million from $3.11 million for the same quarter a year ago. For 2005, net income increased 77 percent to $18.44 million from $10.40 million in 2004.

Operating income for the fourth quarter increased 26 percent to $6.39 million compared to $5.05 million for the same period a year ago, and operating income as a percentage of revenue was 14 percent compared to 13 percent in 2004. For 2005, operating income increased 66 percent to $26.85 million from $16.18 million in the prior year, and operating income as a percentage of revenue was 14 percent compared to 11 percent in 2004.
