Allen Engineering Corp. riding trowel
The MSP 455 riding trowel from Allen Engineering Corp., Paragould, Ark., includes hydraulic power steering with independent manual pitch controls, a 40-hp air-cooled Kohler gas engine, a torque converter clutch system, two 46-in.-diameter, five-blade non-overlapping rotors with rotor speeds up to 165 rpm, an electric-powered spray system for application of retardant, and a flip-up seat and removable screens to access the engine, torque converter and drive-line.
Bobcat Co. utility vehicles
The 3600 and 3650 hydrostatic-drive utility vehicles from Bobcat Co., West Fargo, N.D., offer cabs with heat and air conditioning and the 3650 has the capacity to operate front-mounted power take-off (PTO) attachments. The 24.8-hp utility vehicles have a cargo box capacity of 1,250 lbs. and a top speed of 30 mph.
Doosan Portable Power air compressors
The dual-pressure Tier 4i-compliant air compressors from Doosan Portable Power, Statesville, N.C., are cutting fuel costs by an average of 10 percent over previous models, the company says. The P425/HP375WCU, HP450/VHP400WCU and P600/XP535WCU have a thermostatically controlled clutch-driven cooling fan, which engages only when required by higher operating temperatures, to help maximize fuel efficiency.
Ericson Manufacturing Co. lighting
The 1140 Series heavy-duty LED wide-area lighting from Ericson Manufacturing Co., Willoughby, Ohio, can provide temporary lighting indoors and outdoors. The Series has a built-in daisy-chain, feed-through capability to allow users to light large areas with a single power drop. The company says the LED lighting can be used in a variety of applications including tunnel and tent lighting, recreational and entertainment events, emergency medical care facilities, utility maintenance activities and defense/safety services.
Vermeer pedestrian trencher
The RTX250 rubber-tracked, steerable pedestrian trencher from Vermeer, Pella, Iowa, has a 27-hp Kohler electronic fuel-injected (EFI) gas engine and can dig 8-in. trenches up to 48 in. deep. The trencher has a two-handlebar VZ steering system and a dedicated rubber-track system designed to minimize ground pressure.
WorkSite Lighting LED light
The XP 70W LED explosion-proof light from WorkSite Lighting, Prairieville, La., is designed for use in hazardous location work areas. The company says the light is vibration-resistant, has a one-year warranty for industrial use and is rated for Class I Division I areas with explosion-proof requirements. The LED light offers 5,800 lumens of true white light, producing little or no heat.
