ThermaPure Heat mold remediation

The ThermaPureHeat® process for mold remediation from ThermaPure Heat, Ventura, Calif., is a patented technology that utilizes clean, dry, odorless heat to create an environment that is conducive to rapid structural drying. The heat is lethal to many of the biological organisms that oftentimes are found in a wet building, the company says.



Advance power sweeper

The SW8000™ industrial-sized sweeper from  Advance, Plymouth, Minn., has a 50-in. main broom and a DustGuard™ side broom dust suppression system. It is available with Kubota® engines for all fuel types and has One-Touch™ controls designed to minimize operator training. It has hopper safety arm engagement from the operator seat and an impact-absorbing, roto-molded body structure with an integral 5-mph bumper.



EcoQuip blasting equipment

The EQ200T VaporBlaster blast system from EcoQuip, Chesapeake, Va., is designed to be environmentally friendly while removing coatings and linings. The system can operate at pressures as low as 30 psi to a high of 130 psi. At these pressures, the company says minimal media consumption of around 50-150 lbs. per hour is achieved, as well as lowering water usage to less than 1 qt. per minute.



CFR carpet extractor

The portable Pro-500 upright extractor from CFR, Fort Worth, Texas, is a 13-gal., 500 psi recycling extractor. Water and cleaning solution are filtered and recycled up to seven times between refills.



Pramac America trash pump

The PPO100342 Powermate 2-in. trash pump from Pramac America, Marietta, Ga., has a Honda GX160, four-cycle 163cc engine. The maximum output
is 185 gpm. The maximum discharge is 98 ft. and the maximum suction lift is 26 ft. The 0.8-gal.-fuel capacity provides three hours of run time. The pump holds 20.16 ounces of oil and has low oil protection.



Schaefer Ventilation Equipment fan

The 36-in. drum fan from Schaefer Ventilation  Equipment, Sauk Rapids, Minn., is designed to dry larger areas and move more air than competitive models, the company says. The unit has a  polyethylene housing.



Niagara Machine floor scraper

The BRB-1500 battery powered, ride-on floor scraper from BlastPro Manufacturing available from Niagara Machine, Erie, Pa., is designed to remove waterproofing membranes, tile, carpet, vinyl, hardwood flooring, thin set adhesives, rubber, elastomeric coatings, sports flooring and pool deck coatings. It fits through a 36-in. door, has an adjustable blade angle to fit into most elevators and a variety of tool options.



General Pipe Cleaners clog removal

The ClogChopper™ multi-function cutting tool from General Pipe Cleaners, a division of General Wire Spring Co., McKees Rocks, Pa., has six  self-sharpening blades designed to dig into encrusted debris and root masses to grind up stoppages, scales and crystallized urine without risking pipe damage. The company says the spherical design maneuvers around tight bends and traps.

Powr-Flite scrubber

The 16-in. compact automatic scrubber from Powr-Flite, Fort Worth, Texas, uses high-pressure cylindrical brush floor care technology to clean floors more effectively, even reaching down into porous surfaces such as grout, the company says. Running at 750 rpm, the brush and vacuum system is designed to be more than three times faster than traditional mopping, the company says.



Atlas Copco pumps

The WEDA line of submersible pumps from Atlas Copco, Commerce City, Colo., has nine different models including a sludge pump. Each unit offers a sealing system designed to ensure minimal downtime during on-site maintenance as the user can change seals, impellers and other parts in minutes, the company says. The replaceable cartridge seals also include the necessary bearings, lubricant and other components.



General Equipment floor stripper

The FCS10 Rip-R-Stripper™ floor-covering stripper from General Equipment Co., Owatonna, Minn., is an electric-powered model designed to be a compact, lightweight alternative to larger walk-behind units. It accommodates cutting blades up to 10 in. wide and has an ergonomic design with multiple accessories. The 40-lb. unit has a 2,300W electric motor and operates from a standard 15-amp circuit.



Wagman Metal Products floor demolition blades

The 6-in. replacement blades for floor cleaning demolition tools from Wagman Metal Products (WMP), York, Pa., are made in the U.S. from WMP-specified tool steel. The company says the blades can be matched to four-hole alignments for proper blade selection.



Graco pressure washer

The RentalPro 4035 BD pressure washer from Graco, Minneapolis, is available with a choice of a Briggs
& Stratton or Honda engine, has a maximum output of 4,000 psi and delivers a flow rate of 3.5 gpm. The RentalPro 4035 has a double belt-drive design to protect the pump from the engine’s heat and decrease the amount of wear on the bearings, the company says.



Electric Eel pipeline inspection

The ACE 2 pipeline inspection system from Electric Eel, Springfield, Ohio, has one-touch USB recording, an on-screen footage counter and a wheel kit. The ACE 2 also has a 1.68-in. color camera, 200 ft. of Kevlar braided ½-in. push cable, a 512 Hz sonde, 5.4-in. LCD monitor, reel brake and centering skid.



Makita U.S.A. rotary hammer

The HRH01ZX2 18V X2 LXT® 1-in. cordless rotary hammer from Makita, La Mirada, Calif., is powered by two 18V LXT® batteries (36V). It creates 3 joules of impact energy and 4,800 bpm.
