Bartell Morrison trowels
The BC series commercial trowels from Bartell Morrison, Keyport, N.J., complement the company’s professional B series line. The trowels have powder-coated rings and handle, a commercial-duty gearbox and carry a one-year warranty. The company also has extended its B series professional trowel warranty to three years.
Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment excavator and wheel loader
The DX300LC excavator and DL450 wheel loader from Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment America, West Fargo, N.D., now are enhanced with interim Tier 4 updates. The excavator has a 213-hp, six-cylinder Doosan DL08K water-cooled diesel engine optimized for use with a cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) system, diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and diesel particulate filter (DPF). Cooling system upgrades include a split cooling system with a variable-speed hydraulic fan regulating airflow through the oil cooler, which allows the engine oil and oil cooling systems to be controlled independently. The wheel loader has a 354-hp, six-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine optimized for use with selective catalyst reduction (SCR) and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) to comply with interim Tier 4 emission regulations.
General Equipment Co. blower
The EP8ACP15 BLOW-R-PAC® ventilation blower from General Equipment Co., Owatonna, Minn., supplies fresh air to confined spaces in nonhazardous locations. It also can be used for other tasks, including draying damp areas and cooling personnel in utility trenches. The blower has an 8-in. output diameter and produces 900 CFM of free air flow and is powered by a single-speed, ¼-hp motor that operates from a standard 115V electrical outlet.
Kubota Tractor Corp. utility vehicle
The TRV400Ci gas powered utility vehicle from Kubota Tractor Corp., Torrance, Calif., is designed to fit in the bed of a full-size, long-bed pickup. The vehicle has a fuel-injected 6-hp, air-cooled, single-cylinder gas engine and a newly designed continuously variable transmission with inertial clutch (CVT Plus).
LAWN AND GARDEN
The DT220 dethatcher from SourceOne, Lincoln, Neb., has a flail blade assembly with 11 blade height settings to remove thatch without disturbing root structure in turf. No tools are needed to make height adjustments and the DT220 can be used as a combination one-pass seeder with the addition of an option DT0-20 seeder kit or a slicer with the DT010 slicer knife kit.
Terex Woodsman chippers
Three new machines have been added to the 700 series of environmental brush chippers from Terex Woodsman, Farwell, Mich. The Terex Woodsman 700 is a 6-in.-capacity towable disc chipper with an infeed opening of 6 in. by 6 in. The 705 has an infeed opening of 6 in. by 10 in. and the cutting system has a 30-in.-diameter disc. The 710 is a 9-in.-capacity towable disc chipper with an infeed opening of 9 in. by 12 in.

KJS Products converts golf carts into utility vehicles
Golftrucks from KJS Products, Posen, Mich., are converted golf carts with 6- and 8-ft. flatbed decks and a 1,000-lb. capacity. Golftrucks come standard with backup alarm, front headache protection rack, rear window and stake pockets. Electric trucks include a state of charge meter and charger. It can be plugged into any 110V outlet and turns itself off automatically when fully recharged. Gas models are recommended for carrying goods longer distances or for transporting people all day. Gas trucks can be equipped with an optional under-seat tool box about 12 in. deep, 16 in. wide and 22 in. long. One deck option is designed for hauling tent poles and other materials into areas that a full-size vehicle can’t reach.
