Need some extra cash to help you with college tuition? You could win a $1,000 scholarship through the Rental Equipment Industry Foundation (R.E.I.F.) scholarship program. R.E.I.F. will award one scholarship in each of A.R.A.'s 10 regions, and the winners will be announced at the 44th Annual A.R.A. Convention and Rental Trade Show in Anaheim, Calif., in February.

To qualify, you may be a member of a family whose rental business has held A.R.A. membership the past three years. Or, you may be an employee or child of an employee of an A.R.A.-member business, if the employee has worked there at least three years.

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited or approved university, college, community college or technical school. The applicant's field of study must relate in some way to the rental business.

Scholarships are available for the 2000-2001 fiscal year, and applications are due before Nov. 1. A.R.A.'s Executive Committee and the Education Committee chairperson will select scholarship winners.
