Membership in the American Rental Association can be a key element to the success of your business. But another important component to making your business succeed is your employees.

Because your employees are such a valuable resource, chances are you want to make sure they're satisfied with their jobs and enjoy what they do. In turn, the employees want to feel pride in their work, as well as understand the big picture of your operation and the rental industry overall. Rental is becoming a career choice for many employees, so the need for recognition of this increasing industry component is growing.

A.R.A. has created a new membership classification, General Member - Personnel, that provides such recognition while also giving a specific group of employees - counter personnel - an exciting new opportunity. This is the first membership offering under this new category. If the program for counter personnel is successful, classification will expand to include other job categories in the future.

The new General Member - Personnel category gives counter personnel their own identity within the industry. More than that, it will provide a chance to improve knowledge of their job and have communication with their peers who share their interests and responsibilities. These members will receive materials specifically designed for them

while also receiving some of the same things - like Rental Management and the new A.R.A. Today newsletter - that owners do, to give them a better picture of the association and ideas on how they can help your operation be more profitable.

The General Member - Personnel category will let your counter personnel enjoy the same sense of belonging that you have with your membership in A.R.A.

Members received an informational brochure in August. Call the A.R.A. at (800) 334-2177, ext. 243, for more details.
