Build the foundation for a training program to use immediately, or further develop the training program you have in place at this year's A.R.A.'s City Conferences Aug. 29-31 in Denver and Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 in Baltimore.

Mark Mayberry of The Mayberry Group, Woodstock, Ga., will present management tracks for owners and managers. And 10 A.R.A. associate members will present equipment training seminars for key employees at each location.

Those who attend the track for owners and managers will learn how to use the training tools they have available and how to find additional resources. In a hands-on session, Mayberry will demonstrate how to put together a training program about a specific topic and how to train a group of people who have different training needs, such as counterpeople, drivers and warehouse staff.

The conferences also will offer the following seminars presented by exhibitors: eliminating towing liabilities by A.R.A. Insurance Services; electrical safety by Sotcher Measurement; compaction equipment by BOMAG; event decorating lighting by Event Lighting Distributors; diamond blades and abrasives by Pro-Cut Products; heaters by Portable Heater Parts; rolling tower scaffolding safety by Waco Scaffolding and Equipment in Denver and by Millstone Corp. in Baltimore; pumps by Wacker Corp.; construction portable lighting by Allmand Bros.; and generators by Rand Equipment Co. Div. of Ingersoll-Rand.

Both conferences will offer tours of the host city, tours of local rental stores and other activities.

There also will be opportunities to see the latest product lines and to network with vendors during the Product Showcases. The two Product Showcases are Aug. 30-31 in Denver and Nov. 1-2 in Baltimore.
