Fort Worth's Workshops will get your business booming

“The city conference has national value for a local cost. I can afford to bring more of my team members to a regional show. And the best part, it provides my employees an incentive to motivate them through the remaining busy summer months.”
Damon W. Holditch
Austin RentAll, Austin, Texas

With advances in technology and constant changes in the industry, new ways to conduct business are emerging faster than most people can imagine. The Fort Worth City Conference seminar program, scheduled for Sunday, July 22, and Monday, July 23, will focus on the latest rental industry trends for personnel at all levels. Just one idea from an A.R.A. workshop could help you put your business on a more profitable path in the months and years ahead.

You can expect straight talk from rental peer panels and industry experts. On Sunday, from 8 a.m. to noon, suppliers will present information on their products and equipment. Attendees will learn about new features, safety procedures, maintenance tips and ways to effectively rent their products.

On Monday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the conference will offer a full day of training on hot rental topics such as theft prevention and recovery, safety training and party decorating. Think of the difference reducing inventory theft by even 25 percent would make on your bottom line. Imagine the peace of mind you’d have knowing that yours is a safe workplace with reduced insurance claims. Anticipate increasing your profits through your new, enhanced party decorating skills.

Check out these great speakers for Monday’s session:

Al Eagle, a retired law officer and owner of Barnsco Rental and Sales, Weatherford, Texas, along with Sgt. Bill Cooper, Weatherford, Texas, and a panel of seasoned rental veterans will provide straight talk on theft prevention and recovery.

Experts from Engineering Safety Consultants, based in eight locations throughout Texas, and a rental-industry peer panel will help you develop a customized safety training system for your rental business. Last year, ESC performed more than 10,000 job site audits and 1,500 safety meetings and certification classes, resulting in a safer workplace and reduced insurance costs for participants.

John Jakob, Abbey Party Rents, Dallas, and other area party-industry experts including Robert Slavik, Abbey Party Rents; David Frazier, Props of Texas; Robert Hayden, Outstanding Production; Tim Sanders, J & S Audio Visual; and Narcie Seguara, Austin RentAll, will lead the Hot Hands-On Party Dιcor for Profit seminar.

Remember, register two people and all other personnel from your rental store are FREE! So, round up your crew and head to Fort Worth. Take advantage of the solid advice and training that will make a significant contribution to your store’s future.

Don’t forget to register for the optional conference activities: rental-store tours, luncheons, reception, conference shindig at Billy Bob’s Texas and the baseball game at the Arlington ballpark.
