Come Together ‘N Texas, Together ‘N
Tennessee for the 2001 City Conferences

BY ANNETTE MEYER, CONFERENCE COORDINATOR

In October, the A.R.A. Board of Directors asked for member input through a survey on the value of the city conferences and on areas that needed improvement. During the planning meeting for the 2001 City Conferences, the A.R.A. regional directors kept those opinions in mind to develop the this year’s A.R.A. City Conferences and Product Showcases set for July 22-24 in Fort Worth, Texas, and Nov. 4-6 in Nashville, Tenn.

Come together with rental industry peers in a relaxed environment and discuss two forward-thinking topics: Retail for Profit and Straight Talk on Theft and Safety. The conferences will also allow those individuals registered with the A.R.A. Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) Program the opportunity to earn points in one of the disciplined areas of study. Hear advice from your rental peers. Receive updated information from the experts. Get the answers you deserve. These educational sessions will be full of straight talk, ideas and facts.

The A.R.A. City Conferences and Product Showcases give you the opportunity to get to know your neighbor, your suppliers and to talk openly about your rental concerns. There will be time to kick up your heels during the events planned at Fort Worth’s Billy Bob’s and at Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame. Explore new products on the show floor and learn updated information straight from the suppliers in either their booth on the show floor or in a product training session. Visit local rental stores to share and compare how other stores operate. Attend the show’s reception, luncheons and area activities for one-on-one networking opportunities.

Come together with rental industry peers, learn about industry topics and about new products, and have fun with friends at the same time. Together ‘N Texas and Together ‘N Tennessee you will have the opportunity to experience this dynamite A.R.A. service and to share your rental stories with friends that care and understand your challenges. Look for more information on the conferences at the annual convention in Orlando and in future mailings. For more information, contact the A.R.A. at (800) 334-2177, ext. 268.
