Electrolux acquires Magnum Diamond & Machinery

Dimas, a part of the Electrolux Group, has acquired Magnum Diamond & Machinery, Grandview, Mo., a manufacturer and distributor of pavement saws and diamond tools.

Dimas USA and Magnum will form a new company, Dimas Magnum USA. Magnum President Frank Keeling will remain as president.

Dimas, headquartered in Sweden, is represented around the world by subsidiaries and partners who sell directly to construction contractors through construction retailers and rental outlets. 

Ford Power Products offers California emissions regulations information

Ford Power Products (FPP), Southfield, Mich., a subsidiary of Ford Motor Co.’s Powertrain Operations, has developed an informational CD-ROM focused on the California Air Resources Board (CARB) impending emissions regulations. 

“Emissions and the OEM” contains information about the emissions regulations for large spark-ignited engines contained in off-highway, mobile equipment sold into California. The first phase of these regulations went into effect Jan. 1.

The CD navigates like a Web site and contains information on emissions regulations and Ford Power Products’ certified engine packages, among many other key topics. FPP will offer the CDs to existing customers through its sales and distributor network.
